                    PART ONE OF THE ECHIDNA WAR 

	Sonic was walking through Knothole thinking about Robotnik.
	He was dead now and Sonic was glad.  
	If he was still around then Moubuos would be a terrible planet.  Sonic thought.
	"Hi, Sonic!"  Tails said as he ran up. 
	"S`up, Tails?"  Sonic asked.
	"I miss the war."  He replied.
	"What!!!"  Sonic shouted.  "Don't you hate Robotnik?"
	"Yes, but I miss fighting."
	"I see your point."  Sonic said.  "Why don't you wrestle Jodie and Vixie?"
	"There girls."  Tails said as he challenged Sonic to a wrestling match.
	Sonic said,  "Go!"  and they started wrestling.  
	Tails ran and pushed Sonic down.  Sonic got up and grabbed Tails and threw him.  Sonic ran and caught him before he hit the ground.
	"I quit,"  Tails said.  "You're  to strong to wrestle with."  Sonic just shrugged.
Tails went to get Sammie.  He was only
8 but at least he was a boy.  He walked pAst Sonic's hut on the way.  Finally he was at Sammie's.  He knocked on the door.  Kath opened the door.  
	::Go away Tails.::
	Tails turned and left to scared to talk.
	That was so weird!  He thought.  When I was about to ask to see Sammie something made me leave.  It was like my legs were moving themselves.  Tails was freaked.  He needed to tell someone.
	
	Tails went to do some spying.  He peered through the window of Sammie and Kath's hut.  He saw Kath inside talking to Sammie.  
She said,  "Sammie,  I forbid you to use your mind control powers on me!  We have to get back to our city by tonight.  I'll talk with Sally again.  Let me do the talking, I mean,  the mind controlling.  And also..."  
Tails didn't stick around.  He jumped down from the window.  He hit the ground face first.  
	"THUD!!"
	"Kath, what was that?"  Sammie asked as he ran outside to see who it was.
	"Tails!  What are you doing?"
	"I was running and I crashed into the wall!"
	::What were you really doing, Tails?::
	Tails stood up and said in a dull voice,  "I was spying."
	Sammie ran to tell Kath.  A few seconds later Sammie and Kath came out to see to see.  But Tails was gone.

	Tails ran off as fast as he could.  He had to tell someone- anyone.  He ran to King acorn's hut.  He didn't bother to knock.  He just ran in.  The room was empty.  There was no one there.  He ran out to Sally's hut.  Sally was sitting at a table reading a book.  Sally looked up at Tails.
	"Hi," she greeted.
	"Sally,  Sammie and Kath!  They, they, have mind control powers!"
	"Don't lie Tails."  Sally scolded.  
	"It's true!  I could've sworn they do!  Why, they even said!"
	"Well... I believe you."  
	"Thank you Sally!"  Tails said.  "But what are we going to do, Aunt Sally?"
	"Tails, I'm going to talk to them."  Sally said bravely. 
	"But they said that they were going to control your mind tonight!  You can't go!  They'll make your mind insane!"  Tails screamed.
	"I'm bringing Antoine and Sonic as body guards."  Sally said as she left to Kath and Sammie's hut.

Sally told Antoine and Sonic what Tails said.  They both went with her.  They walked down beside her to Sammie and Kath's hut.  Sally knocked on the door.  Kath answered the door.
	"Well,  hello, Sally!"  Kath said.  "We were on are way to see you."
	"Yes, so I've heard."  Sally said walking in the hut.
	"Um, won't you come in?"  said Kath.
	"Lets get down to business.  What's all this about mind controlling?"
	::Get out of here!::
	Sally turned around and walked out.  Sonic stared at her and said,  "You're mine Kath!"
	He pinned her down on the ground and punched her in the face.
	"Now, you're goin` to jail!  No, you'll escape.  Hmmm...  Look I'll get you back into your city on one condition."
	"What?"  Kath asked.
	"You never come back."
	"Fine."
	Then Sonic grabbed her and Sammie and took them to there city.  He was there and back in a 1  of a second.  He went and told Sally.

	"Ha! Good riddance."  She laughed.

	
	A week later Sonic and Tails were discovered missing.  Every one looked every were for them.  But they weren't any were.  The plane was gone too.
	
Sonic and Tails were really flying to the Floating Island.  They were sick of all the stupid work on re-building the city.  So they went to the Floating Island to borrow the Chaos Emerald.  They could use it's powers to get the city built faster.  They were now best friends with Knuckles. 


	Sonic landed the plane in the floating island rain forest near the chaos chamber.  He snuck in and grabbed the emerald.  Then he left.  When he got back he used the emeralds powers to rebuild the city.  He also got a call from Knuckles.
	"Sonic, we're lucky that I had a spare Emerald because you took the original."  Knuckles said.
"We were going to give it back!"  Sonic said.	
	"Sorry old buddy, but I've got some bad news.  I voted against it but,  Echidnaopolis has declared war."
